Foreign Direct Investments: Represented AIRIS, US aviation facility development company in negotiating joint venture contract with a major China airline company; represented Gold Horizon, a world major nursing home company in terms of choosing best investment vehicles in mainland China; represented a Singapore water treatment Company in choosing best investment vehicles in mainland China and advised on its merger and acquisitions in China; represented Gain Capital, a US leading foreign exchange online trading service providing company in relation to its business development in China.
Mergers & Acquisitions: Represented an international energy company in its acquisition of a Chinese energy development company, represented a Hong Kong investment company in its merger and acquisition activities in China, US and Africa in the mining area.
Private Equity Investments: Represented Beijing Alarm Networks in its overseas restructuring and financing; represented a Chinese aquaculture company in its reverse merger and acquisition activities in the US; represented Equinox Investment Company in its due diligence check and its investment into a major Chinese bar exam training company; represented major Chinese institutional investors in their investments in the public market and in private funds; represented Sinovo Venture Capital Investment Company in its due diligence check and its investment in a high tech railway equipment company; represented a private equity company in negotiating joint venture private equity fund with the Development and Reform Commission of Beijing Municipal government.
Environment and Climate Change (including CDM projects): Participated in the preparation of World Bank’s standard Certified Emission Reductions Purchase Agreement and its Chinese translation; participated in World Bank’s Bio Carbon Fund project in Guangxi China; Assisted Fengyuan Biochemical Group’s affiliated company in its negotiation of carbon emission reduction purchase agreement with a US carbon credit trading company.
